Tuk Tuk is a light motorized vehicle used widely in Asia and Africa, typically seating two to three passengers in a small, three-wheeled cab. In many regions it’s the colloquial name for rickshaws or auto-rickshaws. The term also appears as onomatopoeia for the vehicle’s distinctive exhaust sound, and is often used generically to refer to similar small, motorized tuktuks or three-wheelers.
