Oseltamivir

Oseltamivir is a prescription antiviral medication used to treat and prevent influenza. It works by inhibiting the neuraminidase enzyme on the surface of influenza viruses, reducing viral spread in the body. Commonly known by the brand Tamiflu, it is typically administered as a capsule or suspension and is most effective when started within 48 hours of symptom onset.
