Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease caused by protozoans of the genus Eimeria, commonly affecting the intestinal tract of animals. It results in diarrhea, weight loss, and poor feed efficiency, especially in young or stressed livestock. Diagnosis and control require veterinary guidance, sanitation, and sometimes anticoccidial treatment or vaccines.
